Viviano Villarreal Buerón holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Architecture and Design from Tec de Monterrey University (ITESM) in conjunction with Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, Spain.

He has been Under-grad professor of Architectural Design Studio II & III at Tec de Monterrey as well as a repeat guest lecturer at "Taller Vertical" workshops in Mexico with Agustin Landa. He has published in several Mexican Architecture and Design magazines, on architectural theory and city planning.

As an architect, Viviano has traveled the world while working and collaborating with diverse architecture firms, in a mixed typology of projects within the USA, Mexico, Chile, The Netherlands, Denmark, Taiwan, China and Hong Kong. He currently works for OMA (Office for Metropolitan Architecture / Rem Koolhaas) in Hong Kong.

It is his creative arts background and architecture that have brought him in contact with photography. “Substance and Composition, just like in Architecture, are in my opinion the two most important things in a photograph ”.
